The Center for Public Integrity has filed suit against the FCC to get data released on broadband internet penetration by zip code, after a FOIA request failed.  Public Integrity wants to make this data available as part of it's Well Connected MediaTracker online database.  AT&T, Verizon and industry groups are working to prevent the release of this data.
