The synthesis of art and religion finds some of its most dramatic form in African American spirituals and gospel music. This program uses those forms in new musical compositions to foster a sense of community and Christian hope.
This program was part of the 2003 Spirit & Place Festival, and was intended to bring increased awareness to the value of racially diverse experiences. | | |
