Part of the Indianapolis 2002 Spirit and Place Festival Fresh-Faced Jazz is a concert based on children's first-time musical compositions interwoven with jazz improvisation. Listen with wonder along with the youth, as young as 6 years of age, who are in the audience. Frank Glover and Claude Sifferlen, jazz clarinet and piano duo, perform improvisations based on music written, under the instruction of composer Becky Archibald, by participants in North United Methodist's Peace Kids, a summer day camp of inner-city children.
