Spirit & Place 2002 LogoThe Labor History Map of Indianapolis is a web site and paper map developed by Tim Thomas, Instructional Technology Coordinator and Lecturer in Indiana University Division of Labor Studies. The map seeks to highlight the contributions of working people to Indianapolis by presenting information about their work, lives, organizations and communities geographically.

The maps offer users an exciting and new way to explore Indianapolis - by connecting present-day locations to the events and people who shaped the city's past and present.

The online, interactive  version of the map is available at http://www.labor.iu.edu/map, and the paper version  is available through the Labor Studies Division at IUPUI.
